2008 - In November of 2008 Burlington Chamber membership reached an all-time high of 1,105 companies.  This is the first time the number of member companies climbed above the 1,100 mark.  The growth in Burlington Chamber membership in late 2003 (950) to mid-2006 (1,060) was a part of the Chamber's presentation to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in 2006 resulting in the Canadian Chamber gold medal for Best Communications Project.
